Close-range cannon that can provide extreme amount of Fire type damage and very universal in balloon, hull and armor destroying.
Common Tactics
Mechanics of gun is different from Aten Lens Array and Aten Lens Array Mk. S variation and is similar with Dragon Tongue Light Flamethrower, but unlike flamethrower it relies on raw damage than applying fire stacks.
Gun provide a multiple particles, that travels straight for a set distance, like a projectile type weapon without any shell drop. Unlike flamethrower particles can't penetrate the target, and will disappear on first touch of the particle's sphere. Since mechanical components located usually on borders of ship hull and haved high fire type damage resistant they can effectivly protect armor from this gun before thay destroyed. Like another particle weapons, this Aten variation can be somehow effective in desroy incoming projectiles.
Like another type of Aten this model shared mechanics of damage falloff, that is not much noticeable due the close range and mechanics of slowing the rotation speed. But damage increases mechanics is not involved, the gun have already high amount of base damage, only problem is in focusing that damage, which can be easy solved by use special ammunition. Pre-fire time is almost not exist.
As with other models, simple tactics of stack multiple guns can make good result due it universality.
